Privacy
BearMark Arena is deliberately minimal. There are no accounts and no sign-up. This page lists exactly what is stored.
What is stored
- Tournament content you enter: the tournament name, activity label, format, and the participant display names you type. These are public on the tournament page by design.
- A SHA-256 hash of your organizer manage link — never the link itself. The hash cannot be turned back into a working link.
- Functional cookies only: your language choice (lang) and, per tournament you manage, the manage capability (mt_<slug>). No analytics or advertising cookies.
- For the create endpoints, the source IP address is kept briefly — only for the sliding rate-limit window — and then pruned. It is not tied to a tournament.
- Cloudflare provides the hosting, database and network as infrastructure; requests transit their platform.
Deleting a tournament
Deleting a tournament from its Studio removes it from every public surface — the public page and the dossier both become unavailable (404). An internal audit row is retained and the address (slug) stays reserved, so it cannot be silently re-issued.
