Plain terms for a small, neutral service. They are short because Arena does little on your behalf.
As-is service
Arena is provided as-is and without warranty of any kind. It can be unavailable, it can lose a request, and a published page can be wrong if wrong data was entered. Do not use it where an outage or a mistake would cause harm you cannot absorb.
Not a custodian
Arena is a tournament tool. It holds no money, prizes, stakes or entry fees, and it is not the system of record for any of them. Whatever is at stake around a tournament is arranged and settled entirely outside Arena, between the people involved.
Content you publish
You are responsible for what you enter, including entrant names. Enter only names you are entitled to publish, and remember that a tournament page is readable by anyone until you limit its visibility. Entrant names are shown exactly as you typed them and are never translated.
What “fair” means here
The word “fair” in Arena means exactly what the fairness page describes, and nothing beyond it. Each claim shown on a tournament is a statement about specific evidence at one exact revision. Read that page before you rely on a claim, so that what you rely on is what it actually says.
